23 December - Ke Pasir Tumbuh, Kelantan pulak untuk makeup kawan lama masa zaman upper form dulu. Azlinda Haiza namanya. Knal masa belajar 2 tahun kat MRSM Pengkalan Chepa dulu. She's a very religious friend of mine, so dia nak makeup natural jek.

Suria's Engagement

22 December - Went to Suria's engagement at Pasir Puteh, Kelantan untuk makeup dia. Tak penah kenal each other before this, kenal via internet nie jek. I was a bit clumsy that day because I've been informed that rombongan pihak lelaki tue will arrive around 1.15pm and guess what, jam 12.30pm tue kami tak start mekap lagi sebab banyak lagi urusan tak setel.
For a new makeup artist like me, I need at least one hour to make me feel secured (even though selalu jek siap less than 1 hour). So, that was the quickest makeup I've ever done I guess. Psyco sket. Not really satisfy with my own work coz I know I can do better, but luckily Suria nak natural and simple makeup jek, so inilah outcomenyer:

Sunday 25 Nov. - Another makeover by my handicapped finger (haha!) This time saye mekapkan sepasang kawan, Fara and Yati. Diorang saje2 nak jadi model utk amik gambar. However, due to some technical problems, it was a very quick makeover session, especially for the second model Yati. Zup zap zup zap siapp! Eheh!

Model Photoshoot ::Bella::

|
Sabtu lepas (24 Nov) saya telah dijemput utk memekapkan seorang model utk di-photoshoot oleh 3 orang photographer. Model hari itu Bella sangat bertuah tapi juga sangat malang. Bertuah sebab dapat di-shoot oleh 3 photographer, and malang sebab Bella merupakan model pertama yang terpaksa menerima sentuhan mekap dari saya yang sedang mengalami extreme injury di bahagian jari telunjuk. Kuku jari telunjuk saya terpaksa dicabut oleh doktor kerana mengalami infection kesan daripada terkepit pintu kereta. So I did the whole makeup without using my jari telunjuk. Sob sob....
This is Bella before the makeover. I don't have a proper and formal after-photo of hers. So, I just take some pictures taken by the photographers during the photoshoot. Gambar sangat banyak, so I just chose the ones yang saye berkenan. Hehe...

Dinner Make-Up for Azra

This is a dinner make-up for Azra, a junior in UTP as well. Cuba tengok bebetul, muka dia ade iras pelakon Rita Rudaini. Sebab, Azra nie memang adik Rita Rudaini pon. Masa buat photoshoot dengan Jengga, hari dah gelap, so background dia jadi warna hitam. Standardla kan, kate dinner mestila malam. Eheh!

Dinner Make-Up for Dayana
|
|
Dayana is a junior of mine kat UTP nie. Tak pernah kenal dia before this. She asked for my make-up service for her batch dinner and that was the first time we met. We become good sisters after the makeover session. You see people, makeup bukan sekadar mengubah penampilan seseorang, malah mampu membina silaturrahim.
FYI, Dayana used to be an actress when she was a child. Pernah berlakon dalam 1 filem and a few dramas. So, officially Dayana adalah artis pertama yang saye makeup. Haha So, these are Dayana's pics before and after makeover.

Makeup Apperantice

Last Friday (19 Okt) I joined another makeup course, this time was under the academy of Fidz Makeover Studio. The academy is located in Shah Alam, but they got one branch here in Perak. I started knowing Kak Ina (owner of the Perak branch) when I bought a few make-up stuff from her. Then she offered me to be her apperantice with the condition I must complete a 2-days-intensive course under her. Nice opportunity rite? Kak Ina has totally different techniques from Kak Nora. Anyway, that's how a lesson is supposed to be kan? To learn new different things. So, this is my portfolio under Kak Ina :

Model 2 (without hair-done). She's so pretty people. I think my camera tak cukup power to capture her beauty. Kalo tgk sendiri depan mata dia lagi cantik.
   
Model 3. Everyone said she looked like Erra Fazira after makeover. Huhu....
Kak Ina said, a good makeup must look nice in the picture both with and without flash. Again, all the pictures were taken using my own digital camera and you know how bad I am in photography. The light in the academy was kinda dim and I didn't know how to adjust my camera to suit the surrounding, so I just used the auto mode. I wished Jengga were there to snap all the photos.
Now, I'm officially Kak Ina's apperantice. Good for me, good for Kak Ina and good for my friends yang buat photography kerana turut sama di-recruit upon my recommendation. So, sesape yang minat lagi bolehlah try apply. Iskkk cam HR manager lak rase...

Hatifah's Engagement

15 Okt - My first experience doing the makeover in a real event, my friend's engagement day at Pasir Puteh, Kelantan. First of all, congratulations to both Tpot and Jagung (their nicknames back in UTP). These are the pictures taken during that day. She requested a simple and natural make-up to suit her simple engagement ceremony. But, her fiance requested her eyes to be a bit dramatic. So, these are the combinations of both requests.

Makeover ::Tie & Intan::

It's a sweet Saturday sebab dah berjaye menyelesaikan misi utk makeover housemate2 saye. Model2 yang terlibat adalah Tie dan Intan. Seronok sungguh kami membuang masa walaupun banyak assignment yang perlu disiapkan. Haha! So, enjoy the pics people!
Nie muke Tie before mekap. She has good skin so tak payah nak mekap tebal2. And sgt senang nak mekap muke dia. Plus, muke dia kecik, so jimat foundation. Haha! Kak andam yg kedekut. Haha!
And this is Tie after makeover. I just added some colours to her face to enhance her sweet looking face. Mekap nie sesuai utk majlis pertunangan. Sweet girl kan?
Nie lak Intan before mekap. "Kunaz, tutup seme parut2 aku tau! Pastu aku nak smokey eyes. Aku nak nmpk exotic." Haihh, byk cekadak tol ko Intan. Haha!!
 
This is Intan after makeover. Ha amik ko Intan smokey eyes yg ko nak. Haha! Mekap nie pon sesuai utk majlis tunang, tp lagi sesuai utk dinner and mekap utk event.
Thanks yer model2 housemateku kerana sudi pinjamkan muke utk diconteng. My biggest credit to Jengga sbb sanggup spent mase buat photo shoot utk 2 model saye nih. Finally, I got the opportunity to further my interest in a formal make up class. So, 31 Ogos yang lepas I joined the Nora Bridal Academy. Sgtla nekad dan kobar. Orang lain cuti merdeka, saye gi kursus. Sorang2 lak tu ke KL tanpa member. Huhu... I chose this academy because of its exclusive reputation. Kak Nora, who is the founder of her own academy, selain tugasnya sebagai professional make up artist, dia jugak jadi lecturer kat Thafe University in Australia dlm bidang2 makeup ni jugak.
So, I thought dia boleh jadi my best reference utk mendalami teknik2 makeup yang betul. Yela, kebanyakan mak andam makeup base on experience + trial and error sampai diorang tere. As for me, I wanna play by rules first before playing by heart. My initial intention was just to know the right basic in makeup, tapi taktau plak yang after lulus kursus nie, I will automatically get the title as Make Up Artist. Sgtla worth for the money that I have invested. Hehe... So, here are some pictures during the course.

Finally, I become a brand new make up artist. Walaupun dah dapat title yang best ni, saye masih belum puas. I'm gonna learn more selagi ade peluang. It's kinda funny at first. Parents saye hantar masuk U suruh belajar engineering then saye pegi belajar makeup. Haha Takpela, ilmu is ilmu, minat is minat. Di mana ada kemahuan di situ ada jalan. So, I'm going to step up slowly in this field (hopefully la..) Amin... Hehe....
